April 1, 2014

So, it all started with Monday last week. We had a lesson with "M" Monday night, we set the time for her baptism to be after the meetings at 1:00p.m., and all was well. Then for the rest of the week, we could not find her... She wasn´t there Tuesday or Wednesday and then Thursday we only taught "J", because he told us that "M" was there, but that she had a lot of pain in her tooth and couldn´t come out to see us. We asked of course if there was anything we could do, but he said no and that she wasn´t going to be able to see the dentist until Sunday or after. And we were like, okay, we´re praying that she will still be able to be baptized Sunday. The same thing happened Friday. She was still in a lot of pain. So we went by Saturday morning, not knowing if she would be there, (and of course we were praying hard through all of this that we would be able to help her and she could be baptized) and I am so thankful, because she was there!!!! And she had a lot of pain, but she still wanted to be baptized the next day!!! We got some ibuprofen to help her with the pain. We planned all the details of the baptisms, the talks, who would baptize her and everything. We planned to pass at 5:00 to walk to the church and have her interview. It really was all a miracle. Her Fe is SO STRONG. Because we talked about the opposition that always comes before we do something important for the Lord and she was not going to let her tooth stop her from doing this!!!!

Okay, so in the mean time we are teaching "N", "V" and "K". "K" wants to be baptized, but we're focusing the lessons a little more on "V" in the first half of the week, because she wasn´t understanding the Authority she needed to be baptized, because she had been baptized in another church just a year ago. But then "K", Wednesday is really like, no seriously, I want to be baptized on Sunday, can I be baptized?! And we are like, YES!!!! OF COURSE!!!! But you need the permission of your Mom and Dad. So we started focusing on "K" getting her ready, because "N" didn´t know if she wanted her to wait another week or not and she said she needed to talk to her husband, "D". But then on Friday we are teaching "K" and explaining how she needed to pray and ask Heavenly Father if it was right to be baptized and if this was true. She knelt down right there in the prayer to end the lesson and said, please help us and dear Heavenly Father, I want to be baptized, can I be? But if you don´t want it, that´s okay too... And well, long story really short, because I have to go, "N" and "D" both gave her permission without a second thought and she had her interview Saturday with "M". "V" up to Saturday night, still said she didn´t want to be baptized again. But then after a very powerful lesson of the Restoration with the young men and young women where they all bore their testimonies, she left the class saying she wanted to be baptized with "K" that day!!!! The elders were right there, so they interviewed her and we found white clothes!!!! So, "M", "K" and "V" were all baptized on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!! A MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO THANKFUL!!!! BEST WEEK OF MY LIFE!!!!! I feel the Lord´s LOVE in every step for His children here!!!!!
